Episode 35: Doctor Who songs on the ukulele

You might know Alan Brandt at the afternoon host on Classical 90.5, where he’s all distinguished and serious and stuff. He’s also an utter goofball who writes really great original songs on his beloved ukulele.

He’s got a YouTube channel with more than 200 videos on it. For instance:

Great stuff! But Alan’s also a serious Doctor Who nerd – he’s the guy that got me into the show six years ago, for which I am forever grateful – so lately he’s been writing original songs based on classic Doctor Who episodes. In this podcast, you can hear him perform “Eldrad Must Live,” inspired by an old Sarah Jane adventure.
